Barcelona, Spain  11-4-2005

After two rough days at sea, we finally arrived at Barcelona in Spain. It was probably the best town we've been during the journey. Great atmosphere, lovely statues and mimes and performances everywhere. I (Cam) was still suffering from a combination of stomach gas, back neck and sea sickness, which made me feel tired, but having a cup on coffee latte on the pretty and peaceful La Rambla, a walk way lined with cafes between two narrow roads, saved my day.

Barcelona is clean, tidy and beautiful, its buildings are remarkable. We went past a few very strange looking buildings built by a famous Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi (1852-1926). He was a highly acclaimed, and definitely very imaginative architect, his work certainly draws a lot of attention. I personally think his work will be best appreciated in Disney Land.
